The Steenson at work

THE STEENSONS – Bill & Christina Steenson are well known as Northern Ireland’s leading designer jewellers. Established now for over twenty years they are renowned for the quality of their craftsmanship and the innovative forms they create in all the precious metals and stones. Since graduating with honours from the University of Ulster in 1976, ‘The Steensons’ have enjoyed crafting their masterpieces in the historic village of Glenarm on the scenic Antrim Coast Road. Here the workshop/showroom is open to the public, where you are welcome to watch the makers at their intricate work, or choose from the exciting selection of jewellery on display.

Jewellery which can be seen on display in the Workshop/Showroom.

GLENARM POTTERY is located in a Georgian Style House once owned by the Earl of Antrim. Early Stone settlements and the arrival of the Celts are the main influences on the work of Glenarm Pottery.

Glenarm Pottery’s specialist range is the delicate Sgrafitto work. The Celtic designs are gathered from many sources and all have meaning and history. Some have been adapted form the Book of Kells while others are from artefacts found at burial and ceremonial sites throughout the Celtic World.
