The Steenson at work
THE STEENSONS Bill & Christina
Steenson are well known as Northern Irelands
leading designer jewellers. Established
now for over twenty years they are renowned
for the quality of their craftsmanship and
the innovative forms they create in all
the precious metals and stones. Since graduating
with honours from the University of Ulster
in 1976, The Steensons have
enjoyed crafting their masterpieces in the
historic village of Glenarm on the scenic
Antrim Coast Road. Here the workshop/showroom
is open to the public, where you are welcome
to watch the makers at their intricate work,
or choose from the exciting selection of
jewellery on display.

GLENARM POTTERY
is located in a Georgian Style House once
owned by the Earl of Antrim. Early Stone
settlements and the arrival of the Celts
are the main influences on the work of Glenarm
Pottery.

Glenarm Potterys specialist
range is the delicate Sgrafitto work. The
Celtic designs are gathered from many sources
and all have meaning and history. Some have
been adapted form the Book of Kells while
others are from artefacts found at burial
and ceremonial sites throughout the Celtic
World.
