Mill Cottage - Self-Catering Accommodation

Broughshane, the Garden Village of Ulster is located some three miles east of the town of Ballymena in County Antrim. Set in the beautiful Braid Valley it is a gateway to the scenic Glens of Antrim and the famous Antrim Coast.

The Village is known by communities all over the world for its successes in the competitive floral arena having won Ulster in Bloom, Britain in Bloom, the European Entente Florale and Nations in Bloom, some events several times.

The Braid Valley with Slemish mountain, where St. Partick tended sheep as a boy, and its fields bordered by hawthron and stone walls, provides a beautiful route to the Glens of Antrim with their verdant green valleys, dramatic water falls, flowing rivers and sheep covered hills, and then on to the spectacular North Antrim Coast and the world heritage site of the Giant’s Causeway.

Mill Cottage is located at Houston’s Mill, recently restored in its original and matching stonework. The Mill stands at the edge of Broughshane village in a lovely rural setting just three minutes walk from the shops, pubs and the river walk.

The accommodation, which sleeps up to five people, comprises an entrance hall, living area with TV, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. There is central heating and a car parking area.

One bedroom is on the ground floor and has a double bed; the other bedroom upstairs has three single beds.
