The Broughshane and District Flying Club has been in existence for over 20 years. It currently has 22 members who finance the club with their membership fees of £25 per year, senior citizens and schoolchildren paying half. There are also some affiliation fees.

The club meets every week and more often during the racing season, at the Community Centre. Outside the racing season meetings are held monthly.

Flying times for the Broughshane Flying Club are from April to September and members pay the carriage of their birds weekly during the racing season. Show times for the club are October and November, usually Tuesday evenings. Each year the club holds a dinner and prize distribution in November.
