The Braid Valley Vintage Enthusiasts hold a group meeting in the Community Office on the first Wednesday of each month at 8.00 pm, except July and August.

About 20 - 25 members usually attend meetings, although the total group membership is nearer 100. The membership fee is £2 per annum. Activities at the meetings include discussions, showing of videos and talks by guest speakers about vintage tractors and agricultural machinery.

One of the highlights of the group's activities is the Annual Vintage Gathering held at the Sheddings in July. This is an exhibition of vintage machinery by members and other enthusiasts and there are also working demonstrations using vintage machinery. A classic motorcycle scrambling event is also included. The gathering is the group's main fund-raising event for the year.

Outings are sometimes organised to visit other collections of vintage machines or museums and occasionally visits are arranged to vintage gatherings in England and Scotland.

The Annual General Meeting of the group is held in March when office-bearers are elected.
