The Outdoor Bowling Club currently has a membership of 21, which includes only one lady member. The club has 2 teams, A and B, with 9 players in each. Membership fee is £10 per season, Senior Citizens pay £5.

The club meets from Easter to September at 7.00 pm at the bowling green behind the Community Centre. The club shares the 4-rink green with the Michelin Bowling Club. The green is rented from Ballymena Borough Council which employs a greenkeeper to maintain it. Broughshane Club uses the green on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, alternating with the Michelin Bowling Club, although arrangements for this are flexible. Proper footwear must be worn.

The club plays in the Mid-Antrim League against 6 other teams and has been very successful over the years. There are Singles and Triples competitions open to all League members, which are hosted by the clubs in turn. This year Broughshane hosted the Triples Bowling Tournament.
